13 Senators and 52 Representatives are working on a final version of the highway bill in Conference Committee.
Your Senator is one of them, along with several Representatives from California and will be making a decision by December 4, 2015.
Send your message to Senator Boxer today:
We need to make sure the Conference Committee Members hear from as many REALTORS as possible so Conferees keep the House Language in the final bill.
The Neugebauer/Huizenga Amendment in the House bill prohibits using G Fee revenue to pay for the transportation bill.
Why is NAR taking such a strong stance on this legislation? Because any money Congress takes from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will make it more expensive for anyone seeking a mortgage to purchase a new home or refinance an existing home.
