Moving into a new home is challenging for everyone, especially for previously homeless adults, families and children. The Welcome Home Project is a collaboration of nonprofit, real estate, and government organizations seeking to provide previously homeless families with basic necessities for their new households.

Over the next year, close to 200 formerly homeless men and women and veterans are about to experience the exhilaration of getting the keys to their new home. For some of them, it will be the first time in years that they’ve had a place to call their own.
Through the Welcome Home Project, the San Francisco Association of Realtors has committed to welcoming these men and women home with some of the household items they’ll need to make their house a home.
For the the next year we’ll be collecting new kitchen and household goods. We invite you to contribute any of the following items:
- Dish sets
- Dish rack
- Mugs and glasses
- Pots and pans
- Cooking Utensils (can openers, spatulas, etc.)
- Bedding (sheets, comforters, pillows)
- Cleaning supplies
- Towels (bath and kitchen)
- Coat hangers
- Gift cards
Your unwrapped items can be brought by the SFAR Office at 301 Grove Street.
