Keep it Real with BoxMLS

Whether you’re an agent, a broker or MLS and association staff, you have witnessed a huge change in
the real estate industry. Once there was nobody between the buyers and sellers of real estate and the
REALTOR. Now, more and more layers are being added. This has caused a disconnect between the
agent and the consumer. It’s time we make a plan to take back the customer service, the passion, and the
relationships that make the real estate industry so special.

BoxMLS™ has teamed up with nationally-known real estate speaker and trainer Dick Betts to share a
plan to restore the level of service and connection needed today. Dick has helped many companies in his
19 years of traveling North America including Supra, Palm, e-Pro certification, Point 2 and many others.
Topics Dick will cover in his 90 minute presentation include:
• Taking control of your local market
• Developing and deepening relationships
• How to build respect in your market
• Cover what ingredients are needed to build trust
• What consumers really care about
• How to be sure to stay in contact with leads so nobody falls through the cracks
• Bonus information on customer relationships and building friendships
• How BoxMLS fits into taking back control and relationships in your market

Thursday Think Tank: Selling Across Generations

Selling homes to Baby Boomers (born 1946-1964) is very different than selling to Generation-X (born 1965-1978) or Generation-Y (born 1979-1995). What they want in their dream home, how you build trusting relationships and the entire sales process must be adapted to each unique group. When working with sellers from these groups the differences can be even more challenging. Come to this fun and fast-paced program to gain an insight into each unique generational group and learn how to adjust your practices to increase your sales to each one. Michael Soon Lee, CRS, GRI, has been a broker for over 25 years and is a Master Instructor with CAR who has written eight sales books about bridging differences.

Lunch and Reach150 Training

Did you know that 90 percent of clients do online research before calling a real estate agent? Wouldn’t you like your clients to be able to easily find the positive testimonials that your clients have left you about the services you provide? Now you can! SFAR is partnering with Reach150, and online testimonial service that collects recommendations for agents and makes sure they are prominently placed on social, search and website platforms to be seen by potential clients.

SFAR members can expect to receive an email invite from Reach150 by the end of May to set up their free account. There is no commitment or credit card up front. Each agent can have 3 free published testimonials (you only publish the testimonials you like best), then the agents decide if they want to subscribe at $19/month yearly or $25 monthly. The agent is in complete control of what gets published. When an agent gets a recommendation, their ‘partner network’ is notified. Brokers can also create an account to collect recommendations from their agents to help with recruiting.

Eventually, Reach150 will also be directly integrated into the SFARMLS platform through an SSO link.

Want to learn more about Reach150 and how it can help you grow your sales by having your clients sing your praises online? Come into the SFAR office on Thursday, May 22 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and meet the Reach150 and learn about this great service.

In the meantime, you can check out the Reach150 website here, or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
