MLS Essentials

The SFARMLS essentials class is one of two SFARMLS training classes being offered on the same day.

This class will cover the basics of navigating in SFARMLS. Topics will include:

  • property searching
  • listing data entry and management
  • profile editing, links and other resources

This essentials class will not cover auto-prospecting. The SFARMLS Power Features Class (at 10:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) will cover auto-prospecting as well as other custom features. Please feel free to sign up for both classes. Please be advised that this class has a healthy pace and covers a lot of material, following along with your own laptop will be challenging. Embedded videos and online help will supplement your own notes.

SFARMLS Power Features

This SFARMLS Power Features class is one of two SFARMLS training classes.

Topics to be discussed will include:

  • entering contacts and prospects
  • how to use the interactive maps
  • an introduction to IDX
  • special custom features

Please do not register for this class until you have taken the MLS Essentials class at 9:00am, which covers how to search for listings or how to enter a listing. Alternately, you may take both classes the same day; in this case, please register for both. Please be advised that this class has a healthy pace and covers a lot of material, following along with your own laptop will be challenging. Embedded videos and online help will supplement your own notes.

SFARMLS Fundamentals

The SFARMLS Fundamentals class is intend to provide an orientation of the website and tools available to members who have never seen our system before. Topics include login, how to get help, and where to find the MLS Rules & Regulations. This class (or equivalent experience) is a prerequisite to all other classes.

NOTE: If you have taken the MLS Essentials and/or MLS Power Features between 2013 and 2015 you have already seen all of the information in this course and should look at Listing Management or Search and Stats as a starting point instead.

Learn about the new RealTimeMLS platform for Agent-to-Agent communication and learn the ins and outs of prospect management with this critical 1-hour class.
