The SFARMLS Fundamentals class is intend to provide an orientation of the website and tools available to members who have never seen our system before. Topics include login, how to get help, and where to find the MLS Rules & Regulations. This class (or equivalent experience) is a prerequisite to all other classes.

NOTE: If you have taken the MLS Essentials and/or MLS Power Features between 2013 and 2015 you have already seen all of the information in this course and should look at Listing Management or Search and Stats as a starting point instead.

Learn about the new RealTimeMLS platform for Agent-to-Agent communication and learn the ins and outs of prospect management with this critical 1-hour class. You will learn how to make use of RealTimeMLS to talk to Agents about listings that are coming on the market soon (and the difference between RTMLS and Coming Soon in SFARMLS). The 2nd half of the class will cover Contacts/Prospects, Manage Groups and Reverse Prospecting.

SFARMLS Statistics & Analytics

The SFARMLS is now offering a special training class on the advanced topics of STATISTICS and DATA export. The class will cover the following topics:

  • advanced search strategies
  • using the MLS as an analytics engine
  • making use of the built-in exports
  • how to create your own advanced exports
  • manipulation of data once you have it extracted.

Training will focus on the 10k Interactive tool (InfoSparks). The class will also show you some tips and tricks using free image capture/snipping tools will be covered and some pointers for using Microsoft Excel (and Google Sheets).

Please note that you should have a functional understanding of how the MLS works (or have recently attended the SFARMLS Essentials class that covers how to navigate and search). Those skills will not be covered in this class and they will be required in order to get the most from this course.
