Small Business Network 30th Anniversary Awards Celebration (Thu. 1 May, 2014 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

Join the San Francisco Small Business Network (SBN) on May 1 as it celebrates its 30th year advocating for an equitable and competitive legislative environment where small businesses can prosper. We'll be honoring outstanding small business entrepreneurs and advocates, too, as we again host more than 200 business leaders along with city officials in the Marine's Memorial Grand Ball Room with popular emcee Lynn Jimenez. It'll be an especially festive evening with cocktails, great mingling, guest speakers, tributes, laughter and fun. And, yes, we'll be introducing the new “Kick Ass Business” Award. Most importantly, the SBN is about you, the 85,000 small business owners in San Francisco – you are our partners. Let's make small business flourish together. SBN has four new award categories capturing the City's spirit of innovation and history of success: Influential Individual, Influential Organization, Outstanding Innovation and, of course, Kick Ass Business. And, again, we'll present the Pat Christensen Life Time Achievement Award to a true small business hero. Nominees qualify based on innovativeness of product or service, contribution to neighborhood or business communities, longevity and stability, best business practices, exemplary human re-sources commitment and outstanding advocacy. Party with SBN and our winners, May 1… ORDER TICKETS ONLINE NOW

Lunch and Reach150 Training (Thu. 22 May, 2014 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm)

Did you know that 90 percent of clients do online research before calling a real estate agent? Wouldn’t you like your clients to be able to easily find the positive testimonials that your clients have left you about the services you provide? Now you can! SFAR is partnering with Reach150, and online testimonial service that collects recommendations for agents and makes sure they are prominently placed on social, search and website platforms to be seen by potential clients.

SFAR members can expect to receive an email invite from Reach150 by the end of May to set up their free account. There is no commitment or credit card up front. Each agent can have 3 free published testimonials (you only publish the testimonials you like best), then the agents decide if they want to subscribe at $19/month yearly or $25 monthly. The agent is in complete control of what gets published. When an agent gets a recommendation, their ‘partner network’ is notified. Brokers can also create an account to collect recommendations from their agents to help with recruiting.

Eventually, Reach150 will also be directly integrated into the SFARMLS platform through an SSO link.

Want to learn more about Reach150 and how it can help you grow your sales by having your clients sing your praises online? Come into the SFAR office on Thursday, May 22 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and meet the Reach150 and learn about this great service.

In the meantime, you can check out the Reach150 website here, or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
