Q: What does Allocation mean on the bill?
A: The term allocation is used for the dues amounts paid for the next year. Depending on your membership type, members pay a separate allocation amount to NAR, CAR and SFAR.

Q: Why is the annual dues amount broken down into three parts on the bill?
A: The annual dues billing statement is broken down into three parts because the payment is distributed to three different vendors. Dues bills are broken into the following payments – National Association of Realtors (NAR), California Association of Realtors (CAR) and San Francisco Association of Realtors (SFAR).

Q: Why did I receive two separate bills?
A: If you are a member of both SFAR and SFARMLS you received two bills. One of the bills is for your 2017 Association Dues and the other is for the 1st Quarter MLS service.

Member Number Change for Login

criticalWe have been working hard to streamline the membership information at SFAR and SFARMLS over the past 2 months and have completed a critical update to your login information this morning.

WHEN YOU ARE LOGGING IN USING THE http://my.sfrealtors.com (Member Website) AND THE NEW http://dashboard.sfarmls.com (MLS Dashboard) YOU WILL NO LONGER HAVE TO INCLUDE THE LETTERS “SF” IN YOUR MEMBER NUMBER.

If your member number yesterday was: SF809075
Then your member number today is now:  809075
Your password remains unchanged!

If you did not have an “SF” in your membership number for login, then you are unaffected.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: If you are unable to edit a listing you have in Paragon/East Bay, it may be related to this change. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. SFAR RELEASES MILLENNIUM TOWER ADVISORY FORM

Two newspaper articles regarding a condominium high-rise building in San Francisco known as the "Millennium Tower" came to the attention of the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® ("SFAR) on August 1, 2016.

The first, entitled "S.F. tower for rich, famous is sinking," was in the San Francisco Chronicle; the second, entitled "Finger pointing begins in Millennium luxury tower mess," was in the San Francisco Business Times. Other articles or sources of information in this regard may be available.

Because the situation is still in flux and no one really knows how or when it will be resolved, the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® has released a new form intended solely for use with listings and sales of units in the Millennium Tower in San Francisco to help protect REALTORS®.

The SFAR forms committee has put together a packet of information to be included with the Millennium Tower Advisory Form. Buyers are urged to carefully review all such information and conduct their own investigation before the purchase of any unit in the Millennium Tower, preferably during Buyers' inspection contingency, if any.
