SFAR members who use eKEY for an iPhone, iPad and iPad Mini should prepare for operating system updates to ensure a smooth transition. Supra is asking users to take two, simple but important actions.
- Users who have not completed an eKEY sync to the Supra system in the last 45 days should preform an eKEY sync not later than Monday, August 12. Users can simply turn on their devices, open the eKEY application and allow the sync to complete. Users who have not completed an eKEY sync in the last 45 days who do not sync their eKEYs by Monday, August 12 may be required to re-authorize their eKEY.
- Soon, Supra will release an iOS7 update to eKEY for an iPhone, iPad and iPad Mini. This update will contain important enhancements designed for compatibility with ios7. Pending final Apple approval, this update will be released to the App Store and will be available to members an approximately August 14. All Apple eKEY users must update their eKEY software to this new version prior to updating their operating system to iOS7. Failure to update eKEY prior to updating the operating system to iOS7 will result in the need to re-authorize the eKEY.
