It has come to our attention that some listings located on South Van Ness Avenue are being entered incorrectly into the SFARMLS causing them to be mapped to an inaccurate district. Follow the steps below to help prevent this issue.
1. When entering a new listing on the Enter New Listing page, make sure that the word ‘South’ is entered in the ‘Street Name’ field and not in the ‘Street Number – Modifier’ field as shown in the image below.
2. When you have finished entering all of the listing information on this page, click the Place Pin on Map button at the bottom of the page. The property will then be mapped on the right side of the screen. Verify that the property has been mapped correctly before clicking on Continue to Listing Input. If the street name has been entered correctly, you will see the correct district and subdistrict code assigned to your listing on the Listing Input page.
