Listings Need to Be Updated? Set Up Reminder Notifications

The SFARMLS system has a number of tools that can help you remember to update your listings. When you have listings in the MLS, you can set two important notifications:

1) Expiring Listings (listings expiring within 14 days)
2) Overdue Pending Listings (listings sitting in pending status for an extended period of time)

You can quickly access these settings from the home page of the MLS by navigating to Admin -> Email Alerts Setup. If you do not want these notifications to go to your normal MLS email address set in your profile, you can choose a different address. For more information about the Email Alert feature specifically, you can click here to watch Rapattoni's video help on this topic. You will continue to receive a daily alert until action is taken to remove the condition that triggers the alert.

Get Your Email Notifications Sent to Your Phone

PRO TIP: Many cellphone carries provide "send email to text message" functions. This allows you to configure systems like Rapattoni Email Alerts to send the notifications directly to your mobile phone as a text alert. Here' s how if you have Verizon or AT&T service.

VERIZON: Use your phone number plus "@vtext.com". If your number is 555-113-0009 and your carrier is Verizon, sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. will arrive at your phone as a text message.

AT&T: The same format as for Verizon but use "@txt.att.net". If your number is 555-115-0007 and your carrier is AT&T, sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. will arrive at your phone as a text message.
