Yesterday, San Franciscans rejected Prop G on the ballot. We face a very real housing crisis, but voters understood that Prop G is not the solution and that we all need to work together to find rational, common-sense housing policy.
We would like to take a moment to thank you, the invaluable supporters, who gave so generously to the campaign, who walked neighborhoods, who displayed thousands of signs, who sent emails to friends and family and who made thousands of phone calls to San Franciscans asking voters to vote no on G.
We couldn’t have done it without YOU!
Now that this overtly political solution has been rejected, we look forward to sitting down with stakeholders to start crafting real solutions, including the creation of more housing of all types and the infrastructure to support it.
Today, we celebrate the power of our community rallying together to protect renters and homeowners in our beautiful city. Thank you again, for your unwavering support and enthusiasm which helped to get us to where we are today.
