Important Message From the San Francisco Assessor-Recorder’s Office --
We are writing to personally share the changes in the San Francisco Assessor-Recorder’s Office as a result of the shelter-in-place directive jointly announced by the Bay Area County Health Directors earlier today. We are committed to continuing to provide core services to you and your SFAR member base through telework. Our list of core functions and our contact information is included in the attached public service announcement (PSA).
In summary, effective tomorrow March 17, 2020, our physical offices will be closed to comply with the directive. Members of the public are encouraged to use our online resources including: e-recording, e-filing, emailing (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), online public records search, and our public webpage (sfassessor.org) which houses all our factsheets, educational videos, etc. You may also call us at 3-1-1.
