At the end of 2021, seven directorship positions will become vacant and will need to be filled in September. Four positions, in the categories below, are open for election by the membership and three positions will be filled by appointment by the President.
In each category in which a director or directors is/are to be elected/reelected, a minimum of two more candidates than the number of vacancies to be filled shall be nominated for three-year terms beginning on January 1, 2022:
- One REALTOR® or Designated REALTOR® member elected from a brokerage between 1-75 REALTOR® members
- One REALTOR® or Designated REALTOR® member elected from a brokerage with more than 75 REALTOR® members
- One REALTOR® or Designated REALTOR® member elected at-large
- One Affiliate member elected at-large
The Nominating Committee must therefore select at least eight director candidates no later than Monday, July 12, 2021.
The strength of the Association lies in our members involvement. The leadership provided by the Board of Directors is extremely important to continue the Association’s history in providing programs and services for all members. Careful consideration should be given to select those nominees who possess the qualities necessary to produce a strong and effective leadership team. REALTOR® members can assist the committee in its selection process by proposing for consideration the names of members qualified to serve on the Board of Directors. Nomination forms must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
