The revised Community Opportunity to Purchase Act (COPA) forms, including a ninth Qualified Non-Profit, are live now in the SFCA library on zipForm. To use them in an existing transaction, first remove any previously added versions and then re-add them.
As you may recall, COPA requires sellers/agents of 3+ Residential Apartment Buildings to give a “Right of First Offer” and in some circumstances a “Right of First Refusal” to a pre-vetted and pre-qualified list of non-profit organizations. That list has expanded again. Episcopal Community Services has been added.
