Deadline to Submit Application is Wednesday, April 8, 2026
Each year, the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® (acting as California Association of REALTORS® Region 8) appoints those REALTOR® members it believes will best represent the interests of the district on the State Association’s board of directors. When vacancies occur, REALTOR® members who show promise of best representing the district in the future are appointed directors.
As of now, there will be approximately 3 (three) 3-year term vacant positions for the district that should be filled for 2027. Accordingly, the SFAR Directors are seeking to determine whether any qualified REALTOR® members of the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® are interested in being considered for State directorship.
The only current qualification for serving as a State Association director for Region 8 is that the member shall have served on an Association committee for at least one year prior and will commit to attending in person the 3 CAR Business Meetings (Winter, Spring and Fall) that are scheduled annually. SFAR will issue a reimbursement of up to $1,500 per meeting attended.
In order to have your application considered by the Board of Directors, qualified members wishing to apply should complete the application by no later than Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
